Whether your plan develops into a joint funding appeal or simply new relationships\, you won't want to miss this chance to share\, connect\, and dream.\n\nSpeakers:\n\n\n\nVici Nagel\, President/CEO\n\nThe daughter of a Colonel in the United States Marine Corps\, Vici was born in Philadelphia\, has traveled to all of the 48 contiguous United States and Hawaii\, and lived in many communities.  She is a graduate of Salisbury State College (now Salisbury University) in Maryland where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education.  Vici has 30+ years of successful nonprofit and for-profit business experience and joined Academy for Grassroots Organizations in 2002.  She is "AcademyGO's" first CEO. \n\n\n\nGeorge Nagel\, Executive Assistant\n\n\nA long-haul truck driver for more than 30 years\, George joined AcademyGO in 2003.  During his tenure he has served in numerous positions including: database consultant\, event organizer\, administrative assistant and now Executive Assistant.  He is often referred to as the "man behind the scenes" making sure things run smoothly.  When not working to support the efforts of the Board of Directors and his CEO wife\, George enjoys a twice weekly racquetball club\, gardening\, reading\, and his beloved dogs (Mac pictured). LOCATION:Desert/Mountain Educational Service Center 17800 Highway 18 Apple Valley\, CA Directions to Venue: (DO NOT USE GPS) Please note that MapQuest does not give the correct directions to this site ... Interstate 15\, Exit "D Street/Highway 18 East" and travel East. Travel two miles through Victorville and up/down a short hill into Apple Valley. The first traffic light in Apple Valley will be Apple Valley Road. The facility is at the Northwest (left) side of the intersection of Apple Valley Road and Hwy. 18\, behind the gas station\, in the center of the strip mall. Parking is in the lot in front of the building. Please do not park in short-term spots or you will be towed. There are two Highway 18 exits. Make sure you take the one that says "D Street." If you require special accommodations\, such as sign language interpretation\, please note that two (2) weeks notice is required to fulfill your request.
